We are finally experiencing some cooler weather. It stays hot for so long here that I am always caught off guard. This week I actually remembered to take a sweater with me to my daughter’s softball game. She pitched her best all season. We only have a few more games before tournaments start and I can’t believe how fast the season has gone!
We managed to grab Halloween costumes for everyone as well. My husband and I are the worst at dressing up, but this year we decided to go as Bob and Linda Belcher from Bob’s Burgers. Hooray for easy costumes! Tell me, do you and your spouse dress up or just the kids?

Check on Your Friends from Of the Hearth–This is a great reminder of the importance of ministering to each other. Remembering to check in with those around us to make sure they are really okay.
Book Club Leads to Cooking Club: “Secrets & Scones” by Laurel Remington from A Nest in the Rocks–I’m always on the look out for good books for my kids and this one looked interesting and fun.
