The Best Algebra Course for Homeschooling High School-Mr. D Math

Students access the live online class through their portal and log in at their appointed class time each week. Students are allowed to chat with each other until instruction time begins, much like an in-person class.

During the instruction period, students can only send messages via chat with the instructor. Questions are answered out loud by Mr. D for the class to hear.

During class, students are looking at a shared screen, similar to a teacher’s whiteboard, where they can see the equations and problems being worked through while listening to the instructor explain.

I loved that even though I couldn’t see Mr. D, I could tell he was smiling. He had a great rapport with the students and is an excellent teacher.

Flexibility – Even though it is a live class, students have access to a recording of the lesson. If they miss it for any reason or need to remember how something was taught, they can play the recording.

Responsibility – A live online class requires students to take responsibility for their learning. They will need to be on time for class, manage their time for homework, and take the initiative to attend live tutoring sessions if they need help.
