“Freely Ye Have Received, Freely Give” Giveaway *CLOSED*

*Giveaway closed.*  Congrats to winners Stacy F. and Megan R.!  I  hope you ladies enjoy your book.  I’m sure you will be great virtual missionaries!

“And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.” (2 Nephi 25:26, emphasis added)

When I first began this blog, it was a way for me to document the every day things my children did that I wanted to remember.  Sweet moments, funny remarks, important milestones.  And still I try to record those. But I realized that it could be so much more and I began using it to document our lives.  The every day, the big events.  After a couple of years, I printed my blog out into a book.  Watching as my children read and reread the stories of our family, I recognized that this was also a place to share and preserve my testimony with my posterity.  What better legacy can I leave than for my children and theirs to know of my relationship with my Heavenly Father?  And in the process, I also get to share those things most dear to me with all who traverse my blog.

We have been commanded to preach the gospel to every kindred, nation, and tongue.  Likewise, we have been commissioned to use social media as an avenue to bear our testimony of Jesus Christ and #ShareGoodness with those around us.

We are blessed to live in an era where sharing the gospel with those near and far has been made incredibly simple.  This December, I am once again participating in our Church’s #LightTheWorld campaign.  December 1st is based on the scripture in Matthew 10:8, “Freely ye have received, freely give.”  Therefore, I would like to give away two copies of Greg Trimble’s new book, The Virtual Missionary: The Power of Your Digital Testimony, to help you in sharing your testimony of Jesus Christ online.
